May 4th, 2006-- Helen Reddy attends Reddy or Not!
Here she is with the whole creative team-- Barbara Anselmi (our musical director), myself, Joseph P. McDonnell (our invaluable director), and Lance on the end.
Here she stands in front of our poster. The orange artwork is made from paper mache and egg cartons by a 6-year-old girl named Taya Welch who saw the show when it was done at the Depot Theatre-- I'll bet she never guessed Helen would see it someday! It says, "To Joanna, I am Woman Hear me Roar, love Taya."
The black and white picture next to it is a picture of me singing "I Am Woman" in my fifth grade talent show, wearing an orange terry cloth dress and large-framed bifocals. Helen signed the back of the photo, it is now one of my most prized possessions.

Finally, me, Helen, and my mother Donna Parson. Ma gave me a hug after the show and Helen said, "I think somebody's proud of you!" Cute!
